This is my personal website. It doesn't sell anything, has no accounts, and doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. This page explains the small amount of information it does handle.

What I collect

When you use the contact form. Your name, email address and message are emailed to me so I can reply. I don't add you to a mailing list, and I don't share your message with anyone.

When you visit. I use Umami to count visits. Umami doesn't use cookies and doesn't store your IP address. It records the page you viewed, the site that linked you here, and your browser, device type and country. I also count a few actions, such as opening the resume or sending the contact form.

Your day or night setting. If you switch between day and night mode, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage. It stays on your device and isn't sent to me.

Services that handle data

These services run parts of the site. Each one receives some technical information, such as your IP address, when you use that part:

  • Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs. (Privacy policy)
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that contact form messages come from a person rather than a bot. It sees your IP address and some browser details. (Privacy policy)
  • Resend delivers contact form messages to my inbox. (Privacy policy)
  • Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, so your browser requests them from Google. (Privacy policy)
  • Umami counts visits, as described above. (Privacy policy)

How long I keep it

I keep contact form messages in my email for as long as I need them to reply and follow up. Umami's visit counts are totals and don't identify you.

Your choices

You can ask what information I have from you, or ask me to delete your messages, by sending a note through the contact form.

I don't sell or share personal information. The site doesn't track you across other websites, so it works the same way whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal. It isn't aimed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
